About the name "Luther Blissett":

Luther Blissett is a multiuser pseudonym, an open identity, adopted and shared by hundreds of hackers, activists and cultural operators in several countries since the summer (northern hemisphere) of 1994.1 In Italy, in the period 1994-1999, the so-called Luther Blissett Project (more organized within the open community that uses the pseudonym) acquires notoriety becoming a legend, a kind of folk hero, a Robin Hood of the information age that organizes mockery, passing false information to the media, coordinates unorthodox campaigns of solidarity with victims of repression.
