About the album:

"In Europe, in virtually all countries, Roma are the most discriminated minority, far more than Jews or blacks." The first group of gypsies, mostly Calon, arrived here in the 16th century, deported from Portugal. The Roma came voluntarily from the 2nd half of the 19th century. Thinking of this minority, work and to strengthen the culture and customs of the Roma people Dance and music.

The work of Ronald Mello has musical fusions with Flamenco, Rumba Cigana along with the popular and the Brazilian regional, and the rich and strong Afro-Brazilian percussion cannot be missing.
Ronald Mello in the city of São Paulo where he performs in various places from bars to theaters. It is a group composed of musicians who play Rumba Flamenca, a musical style that varies from traditional flamenco.
Ronald Mello gains great notoriety in World Music with the new album entitled “MISTURA LATINA”. All today with the characteristic of our Brazilian mix, increased in harmonies and dictating the idea of the fusion between Flamenco and Samba.
Ronald Mello is from São Paulo, with an impressive artistic career. Since 2000 he has participated in several recording projects with other artists in the music industry.
Ronald Mello aware of what is happening in the world of Samba (Jazz-fusion) of Flamenco Music and the like, as a composer, he explores all the rhythms of his fertile land. With the same natural way that he flies dizzily along an intricate samba, he plays slowly with the intimacy of a calm bossa.
The work, consisted of the presentation of melodies in traditional rhythms, but with a very modern arrangement refers to harmonies, using, when he thought it was convenient, techniques of Flamenco Guitar and the Strong Brazilian Percussion. Among the collaborations in this Show, we must underline a very special picture of this new generation of musicians such as: Diego Osmani percussionist, who added well the flamenco, Cuban Latin footprint and Brazilianized the “work”. And of course Ronald Mello is a guitarist who plays with admirable technique and composes his melodies with modern arrangements.
